Who’s Monster?

Hey, I’m Darmani Herrera, the face behind Monster Munchies.

I cooked my first meal in August 2025, and what started as something new quickly turned into a real passion. Now, as a freshman at Florida State University, I spend my time learning, experimenting, and pushing myself to get better with every dish I make.

I’m Cuban, but Italian food has my heart with its rich sauces, bold flavors, and dishes that feel both comforting and elevated. I take pride in every detail, from how the food tastes to how it’s plated. I’m definitely a perfectionist in the kitchen, always chasing that next level.
